General

  • Where is the hotel located?

    The Wienecke XI. design hotel is located in the popular district of Hannover-Wülfel at Hildesheimer Straße 380 – just a few minutes away from Hannover Messe and the ZAG Arena. Thanks to excellent public transport connections and its proximity to the B6 and A37 highways, the hotel is ideally located for both business and leisure travelers. The city center and Hanover’s main train station can be easily reached in 15 to 20 minutes.

  • How can I contact the hotel personally?

  • Is there a 24-hour reception on site?

    Reception is staffed around the clock.

  • How much does the breakfast buffet cost?

    The prices are as follows:

    Hotel guests: € 24.50
    Out-of-house guests: € 24.50
    Children 6-14 years: € 9.50
    Children 0-5 years: free of charge

  • When is breakfast served?

    You can enjoy our rich breakfast buffet daily from 6:30 to 10:00 am – on Sundays from 07:00 to 11:00 am. Start the day invigorated!

  • Can I charge an electric car on site?

    Yes, there are 6 e-charging stations available in our video-monitored underground parking garage. Equipped with Tesla Wall Connector, among other things, they each offer a charging capacity of 11 kW. Charging your electric car is already included in the parking fee – there are no additional costs.

  • Are there parking spaces on site?

    Yes, there are a total of 300 parking spaces and underground parking spaces available at the Designhotel Wienecke XI. Hannover (subject to a charge). An outdoor parking space costs €1.50 per hour or part thereof, up to a maximum of €15.00 per day. Alternatively, we offer a closed, video-monitored underground garage for €25.00 per day – ideal for guests who place particular value on security.

  • Can I rent a bicycle?

    Yes, you can rent bicycles free of charge from our reception – perfect for discovering Hanover in an active and environmentally friendly way. You also have the option of renting an electric EQ smart fortwo directly from us (subject to a charge).

  • Is there a fitness studio in the hotel?

    As a guest at the Designhotel Wienecke XI. Hanover, you can use the McFIT studio, just 400 m away, around the clock – for just €5 per visit. You can get your access card conveniently at our reception. So you can stay active and fit on the go.

  • Is there a restaurant in the hotel?

    No, our hotel does not have its own restaurant. However, our team at reception will be happy to help you find a suitable restaurant in the area – according to your taste.

  • Is there a spa and wellness area?

    No, there is no spa area in the hotel itself. For relaxation, we recommend the aquaLaatzium in Laatzen – just 2.3 km away and 5 minutes by car. There you will find an adventure pool, saunas, steam baths and a natural swimming lake in summer.

  • What is the accommodation tax?

    The state capital Hannover levies an accommodation tax as a local expenditure tax according to the accommodation tax regulation from 01.01.2024. You can find more information here:: serviceportal.hannover-stadt.de/Beherbergungsteuer

  • Are pets allowed to stay at the hotel?

    Yes, we charge € 10.00 per night and animal.

  • Is the WiFi in the hotel free of charge?

    Yes, free WiFi is available throughout the hotel – simply log in and start surfing.

  • Where are there ATMs nearby?

    The nearest Sparkasse ATM is located in Fiedelerstraße. The nearest Volksbank ATM is located in Peinerstraße or in the Edeka Center Hippauf in Hildesheimer Straße 341.

Booking

  • How can I cancel my booking/reservation?

    You can flexibly cancel or change your hotel booking or reservation depending on the rate and travel period booked. You will find the specific cancellation and prepayment conditions during the booking process and in your booking confirmation. For bookings by telephone, e-mail or via our website, please note the terms and conditions stated in each case. If you have any questions, our team will be happy to help you at any time.

  • What means of payment are accepted?

    You can pay in cash (€), by EC card, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and contactless with Apple Pay or Google Pay. Payment in advance by bank transfer is also possible on request.

Arrival and departure

  • Can an invoice be issued to a company?

    Yes, of course we’re happy to issue invoices in your company’s name. If preferred, billing through a cost guarantee declaration is also possible. Please simply provide the relevant company details when booking or at check-in.

  • Can I drop off my luggage?

    Luggage storage is available at reception at any time.

  • If I want to leave later than planned, can I request a late check-out?

    If you would like to use your room for longer on the day of departure, please contact us the evening before your departure. Late check-out is possible free of charge, subject to availability. Please note: If the room is not vacated by 11:00 am at the latest, the hotel may charge half the room rate until 5:00 pm. After 17:00, the full room rate will be charged for an additional night.

  • If I arrive earlier than expected, can I request an early check-in?

    If you arrive earlier, please ask at reception for an early check-in. This is possible free of charge, subject to availability. If your room is not yet ready for occupancy, you can of course leave your luggage at reception free of charge and start the day in a relaxed manner.

  • By what time do I have to check out on the day of departure?

    We kindly ask you to hand in your room card at reception by 11:00 am.

  • When can I check in on the day of arrival?

    We guarantee check-in from 15:00. If you arrive earlier and your room is not yet ready, you are welcome to leave your luggage at reception.

  • How do I get a cab?

    You can easily order a cab by calling the Hallo Taxi-Zentrale Hannover on +49 511 38 11. Our reception will also be happy to help you order a cab at any time.

Rooms

  • Do you provide bed linen for allergy sufferers?

    We offer bed linen for allergy sufferers in all our rooms on request. Please note that all rooms have feather-free pillows and mattress protectors as standard.

  • Is there a baby crib or extra bed in the room?

    We are happy to provide you with a baby crib in your room free of charge (subject to availability). Please let us know in advance so that we can prepare everything for you.

  • Is there an iron & ironing board in the room?

    We are happy to provide you with an iron and ironing board free of charge (subject to availability). Please simply contact our reception.

  • Are the rooms air-conditioned?

    All our rooms have their own air conditioning system, which allows you to adjust the room temperature according to your own wishes. The energy required is either generated by our own solar system or purchased purely ecologically.

  • Are there accessible rooms?

    Yes, we have two accessible rooms and also offer barrier-free access to the hotel and rooms with level-access showers (on request). Please contact us before booking on +49 511 12 61 10. We will be happy to advise you personally and discuss your individual requirements.

  • What amenities do the room categories include?

    All rooms are modern and comfortably furnished and offer: Box-spring beds, shower and hairdryer, room safe, fridge, smart TV with radio function, sockets with USB ports and soundproof windows. So you can enjoy relaxed comfort in every category – ideal for business trips and private vacations alike.

Surroundings

  • How can I get to the hotel by public transport?

    You can easily reach the Designhotel Wienecke XI. from Hanover Central Station in about 15-20 minutes. By streetcar (üstra): Take line 1 (direction Laatzen/Sarstedt) to the Wiehbergstraße stop. From there it is about a 5-minute walk to the hotel.

  • What is the quickest way to get to the trade fair?

    You can reach the Hannover Messe in just a few minutes from the Designhotel Wienecke XI., ideally located for trade fair visitors.

    On foot: The exhibition grounds are only about 1.5 km away and can be easily reached on foot in about 15-20 minutes.

    By car or cab: The journey takes about 5 minutes. There are plenty of parking spaces available at the exhibition center.

    Public transportation: Take streetcar line 1 in the direction of Laatzen/Sarstedt to Laatzen/Eichstraße, from there it is only a few minutes’ walk to the exhibition grounds.

  • What is the quickest way to get to the Heinz von Heiden Arena?

    The Heinz von Heiden Arena can be reached in approx. 25-30 minutes for soccer matches, concerts and events.

    By public transportation: Take streetcar line 1 in the direction of Langenhagen to Kröpcke, change there to line 3, 7 or 9 in the direction of Wettbergen/Empelde and get off at Stadionbrücke. From there it is about a 5-minute walk to the arena.

    By car or cab: The journey takes 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Parking spaces are available around the arena.

  • What is the quickest way to get to the ZAG Arena?

    The ZAG Arena is very close by and can be reached quickly, ideal for concerts or sporting events.

    On foot: The arena is only about 1.5 km away and can be reached on foot in about 15-20 minutes.

    By car or cab: The journey takes only 5 minutes, parking is available at the arena.

    By public transportation: Take streetcar line 1 in the direction of Laatzen/Sarstedt to Laatzen/Eichstraße. From there it is about a 5-minute walk to the arena.

Conferences

  • What is the capacity and size of the conference rooms?

    Our flexible event rooms offer space for almost any occasion: from small meetings with around 10 people to large events with up to 3,000 guests. The room sizes vary from a compact 29 m² to an impressive 1,000 m² – the perfect setting for every event.

  • What catering options are available for events?

    We provide catering for your event at trade fairs, conferences and meetings. From a coffee break with snacks, lunch buffet or lunchtime snack, we have a wide range of options to accompany your event with culinary delights. For detailed advice, please contact us directly by e-mail or telephone.

  • Can I visit the facilities for a site inspection?

    Naturally. We’re happy to arrange a personal site visit appointment with you. So you can get an idea of the rooms, the technology and the ambience for yourself.

  • Can event attendees stay overnight on-site?

    Yes, your event guests can of course stay overnight at the hotel.

  • What types of events can be hosted?

    Whether workshops, seminars, conferences or product presentations of medium scale, or large events like trade shows and congresses: we offer flexible room solutions for every event size. With modern technology, personalized service and tailored catering, we ensure your event runs smoothly and makes a lasting impression.

  • How many meeting rooms are available?

    A total of 15 versatile conference rooms await you, which can be flexibly combined – ideal for events of all sizes and types.

  • What technical equipment is available?

    We work together with an experienced technical service provider and can realize individual wishes in the areas of lighting, sound and presentation technology. Whether lighting, sound, displays, screens or LED walls – we provide you with the right equipment for an all-round harmonious event.

  • How can I request a quote?

  • How many rooms are available?

    There are 140 comfortable hotel rooms available directly in the building – ideal for event participants who appreciate short distances and a relaxed stay. The perfect combination of business and relaxation.

  • Is there a personal contact person on site for events?

    Yes, at all events you will have a personal contact person on site to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
